Leitz’s New iLAM Series of Laminators Wins Prestigious Industry Award
February 13, 2012
Already awarded with the most important design prize - iF Award 2012 and the Silver Focus Open 2011 - the iLAM laminators have now received the EOPA Award recognizing Europe’s best new product innovation in the industry, at the Paperworld trade show in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt 7 February 2012. As announced during the event or-ganised by OPI (Office Products Industry magazine) together with Messe Frankfurt, the products nominated for the award were stronger and more varied than ever – and judges were faced with the challenge of selecting just one winner in each award category. Esselte is delighted that it won the award for its state-of-the-art Leitz iLAM laminator, with unique sensor technology.
The judges recognised the iLAM laminators as the best high-tech product launched in 2011. The impressive Hewlett Packard Top Shot 3D LaserJet was a close contender – but the Leitz iLAM’s user-friendly features gave it the edge. The machines are fully automatic, and no settings need to be adjusted to achieve a perfect result. Thanks to the sensor technology, the machine recognises the strength of the lamination pouches and adjusts the speed in relation to the required temperature. This minimizes end-user frustration, and eliminates damage and waste associated with this everyday office task.
The entire new product range lives up to the claim – “All you need to know is On and Off”.
The iLAM A3 touch turbo has also received the world-renowned iF award of outstanding design quality. Every year, experts from around the world select the most innovative products from those submitted by international manufacturers and designers.
State-of-the-art laminators
